Former BT Faculty Member Spearheads Pluralistic Public School in Israel

BT’s former faculty member and Israel Shaliach, Mr. Yigal Ariha, was highlighted in a recent Jerusalem Post article in his role as Principal of a new Jewish school in Raanana, Israel that is receiving media attention for the diversity of its student population. Mr. Ariha was a member of the BT High School faculty from 2007 through 2010, where he taught Jewish History, Judaic Studies, led the Koleinu a capella group, and spearheaded a new Israel Mission and school-wide Israel curriculum. We are most proud to know that he has carried his Beth Tfiloh experience back to Israel in the creation of a new Jewish school that emulates the BT mission and embraces religious diversity in the spirit of K’lal Yisrael.
