The festivities began with a PreSchool Costume Parade and Mini Carnival on Wednesday night, followed by the Multimedia Megillah Reading and back-to-back traditional Megillah readings. The Shushan Street Carnival capped off the evening's celebrations.
On Thursday, there were at least five different Shacharit services and Megillah readings throughout the Congregation and School. Our High School students and synagogue and community members came together for a special Women's Tefilah and Megillah reading. Following services, school assemblies for each division featured costume contests and other Purim activities to capture the spirit of the day.
The BT Purim Seudah was a beautiful way for members of the school and synagogue to bring the revelry of the day to a close. Over 500 members — from babies to bubbies — enjoyed a delicious dinner and wonderful entertainment.
Special thanks to Cherie Brownstein and her staff, our clergy, the facilities staff, and the food service staff for making Purim such a festive and memorable occasion for everyone.
