BT PreSchool Awarded Maryland State Department of Education Accreditation

Today, we are proud to announce that BT PreSchool is now a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) accredited program, in addition to its already existing AIMS accreditation. To ensure the highest standards for early childhood educational programs, the MSDE developed a more rigorous preschool accreditation process. Three years ago, BT embarked upon this accreditation process, which involved BT parent volunteers, staff and administration to evaluate each classroom and teacher individually and the school as a whole. Our Reggio Emilio-inspired play-based early childhood education was highly regarded by the accreditation team, prompting one accreditation team member remark that she was so impressed by one of the Beth Tfiloh classrooms she was brought to tears!
