More than 80 prospective parents and students explored Beth Tfiloh's Middle School program at this week's Open House. They learned about the rigorous curriculum from the Middle School department chairs, met Principal Rabbi Yehuda Oratz, and got first-hand accounts of Middle School life from Meira K. ’19 and Joseph L. ’19.
The fourth graders got a preview of BT’s Middle School science program when by making brush bots -- created from toothbrush heads, small motors and cell batteries – and mechanical claws, built with craft sticks, straws and toothpicks. The projects were enthusiastically facilitated by our eighth graders. The evening wrapped up with a performance of “Two Classical Favorites” and “Heritage” by the Middle School Concert Band.
