"The Other Son," Winter Film Festival

Two babies are born in the same Israeli hospital the same day. One infant is Israeli and the other Palestinian. In the confusion of a missile attack the babies are accidentally switched and raised by each other's families for the next 18 years. The film opens when the error comes to light and we share the drama and challenge both families face as they sort out the ramifications for their two sons and the unexpected reality each family must confront.

A story with some surprising twists, The Other Son is hopeful and reinforces the thought that the human spirit is the same, even on both sides of a political and cultural divide. French with English subtitles, 105 minutes, PG-13
