By: Julianna Randazzo, Beth Tfiloh Head Swim Coach
Senior Jack L. ‘19 started his final season with the Warriors with a huge accomplishment — setting a new school record.
During the season opener against St. Mary’s and Archbishop Curley – whom the Warriors defeated 50-40 – Jack set a new school record for the Men’s 100 Meter Backstroke. The previous record holder was his older brother, Liam ’17, set on February 8th, 2017 with a time 1:02.6. After working hard for over a year, Jack set the new record with a time of 1:00.99. Keep your eye on him to see what else he achieves this season.
Anna A. ’21 and Ryan J. ‘21, both graduating seniors at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, have been named two of more than 4,500 candidates in the 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. The candidates were selected from nearly 3.6 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in the year 2021.
