AP Physics Students Make a Splash

AP Physics students applied the law of conservation of energy in calculating and predicting the trajectory of water balloons launched at High School science teacher Dr. Lea Scheffer and math department chair Mr. Glenn Hyman — *strictly* in the name of science, of course.
The students also incorporated their physics knowledge to ascertain the speed of the rocket (aka the balloon) at the initial launch as well as the horizontal range of this travelling projectile. The final prediction involved anticipating the final landing location for the balloon. Watch and learn!
