BT Teachers Provide PreSchoolers with Virtual Social Experiences During Quarantine

“They love showing off their bedrooms or favorite stuffed animals, sharing what they are building or playing with, eating snack or lunch together, or just being silly and having fun,” shares PreSchool 3’s Morah Alicia Broth. “The conversation is casual but incredibly important.” Students enjoy sharing their artwork, describing their wardrobes, and comparing features of their stuffed animals and the tricks they could perform.

“It got a bit silly at certain points, and that’s the best part,” says Morah Alicia. “There is nothing better than hearing the giggles of these children, especially at a time like this. Everyone had huge smiles on their faces!” She adds, “When we were finishing another mini-Zoom today and saying our goodbyes, one student broke into an impromptu song of happiness: ‘I get to see my friends today…’”
