The Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School Financial Aid Committee operates under complete confidentiality in considering requests for aid using established policies to insure fairness. Requests for aid are considered each year as they are received in accordance with the application procedure and deadlines set forth below. The offices of the School Administrator and Director of Admission serve as the liaison for parents in all matters pertaining to the financial aid application process.
Financial Aid Committee
The Financial Aid Committee strives to provide assistance to as many families as possible in order to achieve the school's mission to provide a Jewish education to as many children as possible.
Family financial information
Financial aid shall be determined annually by the Committee based upon information provided by the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment
service. In computing the amount of aid, the Committee shall take into account family size, income and expenses, assets and liabilities, priorities for spending and special circumstances should they exist. The Committee shall use the information supplied to it by the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Service as a guideline and shall not be bound to base its determination on the parameters suggested by the FACTS Service.
All grants are made for one year only and are based on need and the availability of funds. Each family requesting aid will be required to complete a new application for each school year.
Preference will be given to students presently enrolled at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School and their siblings.
Financial aid will not be awarded to any family that may be indebted to Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School.
Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School maintains strict confidentiality with respect to all Financial Aid applications. All families receiving aid are asked to respect this procedure and treat all aid as confidential.
