Dare to Go Dairy: A Shavuot Cooking Experience with Huppit Miller

ZOOM
Learn about Shavuot, the holiday’s traditional dishes and the particular connection and symbolic meaning of dairy foods on the holiday table, while preparing these delicacies. You will also learn about Kadaif dough, its origin and its versatile usage in Middle Eastern cuisine.

Together we will prepare two dishes: the first is Knafeh, a Middle Eastern cheesecake made out of crispy Kadaif dough and sweet cheese blend, and soaked with homemade Middle Eastern syrup. The second dish is Kadaif nests: individual crispy savory pastries filled with green olives, Israeli Feta cheese and Za’atar.
