The development of character skills, including resilience, self-control, self-regulation, empathy, assertion and creative problem-solving are at the heart of the Lower School experience.
To this end, the Lower School Guidance Counselor oversees the implementation of the
Responsive Classroom approach in our classrooms, which seeks to emphasize that social, emotional, and academic learning are all proactively taught within our classrooms.
