BT Families Take Their Pre-Rosh Hashanah Pick at Baugher's Farm

Nearly 200 parents and kids from Beth Tfiloh’s Day School, Synagogue and Hebrew School got in the Rosh Hashanah mood picking apples at Baugher's farm on Sunday. After Rabbi Chai Posner's family-friendly holiday overview, complete with shofar blowing, families picked apples and other fruits to prepare for Rosh Hashanah. Everyone left with a booklet of apple recipes and craft ideas for their fresh-picked produce.

Kol hakavod to our families for donating more than 100 pounds of apples to Ahavas Yisroel to help local Jewish families in need prepare for the holiday. A special thank you to event chairs Shai Albrecht, Jessica Alperstein, Stephanie Baron, Heather Levinoff, and Jamie Silverman for planning this great event!
