Mitzvah Miles 2017

As alumni, we know when you step into the doors of Beth Tfiloh, you not only become a student at Beth Tfiloh as a student, you join the Beth Tfiloh family. No organization demonstrates the incredible support of this extended family than Yad B'Yad ("YBY").

Yad B’Yad, or "Hand in Hand," is an organization of the school that serves as a support system for the school family. Services and grants are provided to families, teachers, and staff struggling with unforeseen circumstances. Support may come in the form of sending Shabbat and weekday meals for the family, hot lunches for students, carpool help, gift cards for groceries and gas, toys for an ill child or sibling, uniform clothes following a flood in someone's home and other aid. To assure privacy and dignity for those in need, all Yad B'Yad grants are strictly confidential. Last year, YBY awarded 66 grants to 47 Beth Tfiloh families.

Yad B'Yad raises the majority of its funds through Mitzvah Miles, a school-wide family run/walk which takes place every other year. We are so grateful to everyone who participated in this year's race!
