Warriors Swimmers Off to Strong Start

Boys: 
Our Boys team started the season off, strong defeating Annapolis Area Christian School 52-41 and Saints Peter and Paul 61-32. The boys proved to be highly competitive, taking first and second in almost every race. In the 100 fly, Sam K. '21 took first and Jack L. '19 followed 1 second behind to take second. During the 500 Free, Ethan M. '21 swam a personal best time of 5:43.34. Our boys 200 freestyle relay, composed of Joe L. '21, Zack L. '18, Howard S. '18, and Matthew R. '20 also scored with a time of 1:57.65.
 
Our boys will  be traveling to Chester, MD this Sunday to swim Archbishop Curley and St. Mary's. 
 
Girls: 
Our Girls team swam very competitively yesterday against Annapolis Area Christian School. The girls put up a great fight ending the meet with a final score of 48-43 in favor of AACS. The 200 Medley Relay team composed of Elyanna F. '20, Jenna F. '21, Meira K. '19, and Gabrielle G. '19 started the meet off strong as the first of our swimmers to score. In the girls 200 IM, Jenna F. '21 took first with Meira K. '19 following right behind in second. Meira also went on to win the 100 fly.
 
Our girls will swim next Thursday at Goucher College against St. Timothy's and Key.
