Dead Sea Scrolls Expert Dr. Lawrence Schiffman Helps Third Grade with Israel Fair Research

Dr. Schiffman is a prolific author, professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University, and director of the Global Institute for Advanced Research in Jewish Studies. In addition to publishing numerous articles and books on this topic, Dr. Schiffman has been featured in documentaries about the Dead Sea Scrolls by NOVA l PBS, BBC News, Discovery, A&E and more.

Dr. Schiffman held a Q&A sessions via Skype with Mrs. Harrison's third grade class. The students came prepared with their research-based questions, and took diligent notes on Dr. Schiffman's answers. Watch their Skype session here:
