Yom HaAtzma’ut Celebration

Celebrate Israel’s 74th birthday at BT with a meaningful ceremony, musical outdoor davening, delicious shawarma bar, music by Israeli DJ Ofer, crafts, dancing, bonfires and more!  This event is free for our community.

Registration is required to participate in the food and activities starting at 7:30 pm. Register online here by Sunday, May 1 at 9 pm.

Come for all, or part, of this special evening:
  • 6 pm: Museum Showing and Reflections with BT shlichim Matan and Shani Shefler who will explain the exhibit and share their personal stories – Dahan Sanctuary Talit Room
  • 6:25 pm: Mincha – Administrative Circle
  • 6:45 pm: Tekes (ceremony) commemorating Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzma’ut – Administrative Circle
  • 7 pm: Musical Maariv with tefillah chagigit – Administrative Circle
  • 7:30 pm: Celebration for all ages with shawarma bar, Israeli dancing, bonfires & DJ begins! – Lower School Parking Lot (will move to Hurwitz Hall in case of rain)
