In the first part of the trimester we will discuss Jewish ethics of war. Topics will include proportionality in war, morality in urban warfare, wartime ethics, and Israel’s current case for a just war. In the second part, we will focus on reproductive and end of life ethics: in-vitro fertilization, surrogacy, abortion, brain death, organ donation, and more.
