🍽️ 12 pm: Women’s Shabbat Lunch
Indulge in a gourmet meal enhanced by Shabbat singing with Mezumenet, the University of Maryland's all-female Jewish a cappella group, and thought-provoking guided table discussions.

🧠 1:30 pm: Developing a Growth Mindset
A conversation with Chana German and Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School PreSchool guidance counselor Vicki Hervitz about retraining your brain for maximum growth and resilience.

📖 2:40 pm: Women’s Mincha Service led by Rivka Bresler

3 pm: Break-Out Sessions: choose one of the following options:

👑 The Shabbat Queen: The Shabbat prayers evoke feminine imagery. Why is Shabbat compared to a queen and bride? Mrs. Chana Slavaticki will share a mystical approach to enhance your appreciation of Shabbat and its special connection to women.

🀄️ Games that Train the Brain: Take some time to relax with others while still keeping your mind sharp with a fun afternoon game of mahjong, Rummikub and more.

🎶 Women Who Sing: Learn a multi-harmony song with Mezumenet.

🧘‍♀️ A Shabbat State of Mind: A mindfulness approach to a more meaningful Shabbat with educational consultant Nancy Siegel. Learn how to carry the peace of Shabbat with you throughout the week.

☕️ 4 pm: Coffee & Snacks

✡️ 4:15 pm: Mitzvah or Minhag, Choice or Obligation?
Are women required to pray? Are they allowed to wear tefillin or a tallit? Dr. Zipora Schorr will explain the difference between mitzvah (commandment) and minhag (custom), followed by a Q&A.

🍴 5:30 pm: Seudah Shelishit
 
🕯 6:15 pm: Musical Havdalah with Mezumenet

🚨 Moms, don’t stress! We’ve got your family covered! 🚨
Dads and kids can enjoy a light lunch following Shabbat services and family open gym, available until 3 pm. ALL CHILDREN AT OPEN GYM MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

💲 Cost: $20 full day, $7.50 after lunch through havdalah
