  • STEM Activities Coordinator

    The STEM Activities Coordinator will be responsible for STEM extra-curricular activities in the middle and high schools. Extra-curricular activities may include clubs (during or after school), school-wide arts periods (one per week), and open-lab time in both the MS and HS STEM labs. Candidates may be asked to teach one or more sections of our Introduction to Engineering courses in 7th, 8th or 9th grades.
     
    Candidates must have knowledge and experience coordinating a variety of age-appropriate STEM projects. They must be familiar with some of the technologies used in our STEM labs including 3D Printing, 3D CAD Design (Tinkercad and Fusion 360), Robotics (Dobot Magician), Arduino and Microelectronics, CNC Routing and Vinyl Cutting. Some training will be provided. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children at the middle school or high school level is required.

  • Physics/Chemistry Teacher – High School

  • Computer Science Teacher – High School (part-time or full-time)

    The computer science (CS) teacher will be responsible for teaching CS courses in high school and middle school. They will also work with other BT STEM and CS teachers to make computer science accessible and engaging to all students. Most importantly, we are seeking a candidate who is interested in contributing their CS expertise to our ongoing STEM Initiative,  whose purpose is to create an integrated, multi-disciplinary STEM curriculum.

  • Math Enrichment Teacher – Lower School (part-time or full-time)

    Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School is seeking a lower school math enrichment specialist for the 2022-2023 school year. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge and ability to teach and work with students and faculty on kindergarten through 4th grade math skills to provide acceleration and enrichment. Applicants should possess a strong knowledge and familiarity with child development, and a passion for working with elementary school students and faculty.

  • Learning Specialist – High School (part-time or full-time)

    Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School is seeking a high school learning special to provide academic support for the 2022-2023 school year. Responsibilities include academic coaching in reading comprehension, written expression, and organizational skills, working with a team of committed skilled professionals (mathematics desirable but not required).  Learning specialist will provide small group instruction or individual coaching to support a high school academic program.

  • Learning Specialist – Lower School (part-time or full-time)

    Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School is seeking a lower school learning special to provide academic support for the 2022-2023 school year. Responsibilities include supporting struggling readers in a small group learning environment. Candidates should have a background and experience in Special Education as well as Orton Gillingham training.  We are looking for passionate educators who exhibit flexibility, creativity and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

  • Guidance Counselor - Middle School (part-time or full-time)

    The Guidance Counselor will provide personal counseling for students experiencing behavioral or personal difficulties. The Guidance Counselor will also support and assist with communication to students and families regarding social and emotional concerns. Confidentiality and security of school records is required.

    Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in Secondary School Guidance and Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Pastoral/Psychological
    • Counseling Certification in guidance and counseling at the secondary school level or comparable credential.

  • Early Childhood Assistant Teacher - PreSchool

    Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School is seeking preschool assistant teachers for the 2022-2023 school year. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, have experience with emergent curriculum, and are knowledgeable about Jewish practice and observance.

  • Head Coach for Boys Varsity Soccer

    Beth Tfiloh Dahan High School is seeking a Head Coach for Boys Varsity Soccer. This is a part-time, seasonal position. The Boys Varsity Soccer Head Coach will oversee team selection, conduct training sessions, and implement appropriate game tactics. The Head Coach will also assist in the direction of the Boys Soccer program by coordinating with coaches at the JV and Middle School levels. The Head Coach must serve as a leader and a role model. The position requires consistent late afternoon and evening availability on weekdays from mid-August through mid-November. 
     
    The ideal candidate demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills and has at least five years of coaching experience. Coaching certification through the U.S. Soccer Federation (“D” License or above), United Soccer Coaches (National Diploma or above), or another national governing body is preferred. Beth Tfiloh mandates that all staff members are vaccinated against COVID-19.
