Service Participation Guidelines and Sign Up

Please review the following guidelines and protocols for both in-person and outdoor shul services:
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Signs ups will only be required for Shabbat services from this point forward. No sign up will be required for outdoor services.

  • All weekday services will continue to take place in the shul parking lot.
  • All weekday Mincha and Maariv services will be livestreamed via Zoom. Shacharit services will not be livestreamed.
  • Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat services will take place in the Dahan Sanctuary.
  • Participants must sign up to join in-person services — this allow us to monitor the size of each minyan and to communicate any last-minute changes.
  • Each participant must sign up for themselves — please do not sign up for any other participants.
Outdoor-Only Service Protocols:
  • You can either sit in your car or stand right next to your car
  • You must wear a mask if you choose to stand next to your car
  • You must bring your own siddur and tallit
  • You may not enter the building for any reason. There will be no bathroom access.
  • In case of inclement weather, services will move indoors, and indoor service protocols will be implemented.
Indoor Service Protocols:
  • Your temperature will be taken before entering the building
  • You must wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose the entire time you are in the building
  • All social distancing guidelines must be observed
  • Socializing is not permitted
  • You must bring your own tallit
  • Bathrooms will be open, but we encourage you to use the bathroom at home prior to services and refrain from using the shul bathrooms if possible

Participation Guidelines:
Please note the following important guidelines for participation, per the Orthodox Union’s recommendations:

• It is of paramount importance that anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, quarantined due to exposure, or otherwise under suspicion for developing infection, NOT ATTEND. This includes anyone exhibiting any symptoms of illness.

• Those over 65, or those with chronic medical conditions — including the severely obese, as well as those with lung disease, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, severe kidney or liver disease, neurological disorders, and the immunocompromised — who are at high risk of severe COVID-19 are highly discouraged from attending.
