Sanctuary Enhancement

מקרב שכן, מקרב שכינה
Mekarev Shachen, Mekarev Shechinah | Closer to Your Neighbor, Closer to G-d’s Presence

Upgrades will improve:
  • Lighting
  • Acoustics
  • Climate Control
  • Comfort
  • Overall engagement in prayer
Planned physical changes include:
  • Adding a secondary chazan bima
  • Increasing number of aisle seats in front section
  • Ability to section off back portion of sanctuary
Construction will begin after Sukkot 2026, last about six months, and Shabbat services will temporarily be moved to the Hurwitz Hall.

We are tremendously grateful to the Dahan Foundation which has pledged the lead gift to support the enhancements. We invite you to become part of bringing this vision to life by participating in our Sacred Space Campaign. See below to learn more or reach out to development@btfiloh.org.
