9:30-10:20am – Classical Perspectives on the Parsha with Rabbi Chai Posner
Gain fresh insight into the Book of Shemot by examining it through the rich lens of the classic commentators, including Rashi, Ramban, Ibn Ezra, Seforno and others. Explore their personalities and distinct interpretive styles and appreciate how their contributions continue to illuminate our understanding of Torah for generations. 
 
10:30-11:30am - Myths and Mistakes in Popular Jewish History with Rabbi Dr. Shira Lander
Jewish history has sometimes fallen prey to false assumptions and promoted ideologically motivated myths, like the singularity of the Jerusalem Temple or that the Jews were united in their opposition to Roman rule. The truth is much messier than these oversimplifications would suggest. This class will examine and deconstruct the top myths and mistakes found in popularized versions of Jewish history.
