Lilmod U'lelamed: An Evening of Learning in Memory of Sandy Vogel z"l

Sunday, December 13, 7:30 pm
Topic: Making a Case for Midrash Study in the 21st Century
How can I accept that Rivkah was 3? That Vashti had a tail? In this class, we will engage with some of the common resistances to Midrash study, and offer critical strategies for pushing beyond them.

Speaker: Dr. Tammy Jacobowitz
Dr. Tammy Jacobowitz is the chair of the Tanakh department at the SAR High School, and is the founding director of Makom B'Siach at SAR, an immersive adult learning program for parents.
