Boys Basketball: The Boys Varsity Basketball team had a rebuilding year after back to back championship game appearances, finishing 4-8 in the league, just out of the playoffs. Yair P. ’16 and Jeremy F. ’16 were the team’s leading scorers and will be sorely missed next year. The Boys J.V Basketball team had an outstanding season with an 7-3 conference record leading to a championship game appearance. The Warriors relied on their stingy defense and allowed the fewest points per game in their league. Unfortunately Park School was victorious in the final, defeating the Warriors 52-39. The Boys Fresh/Soph Basketball team had a very successful season, going 3-6 against an independent schedule. This year’s Fresh/Soph team featured one of the best offenses BT has ever featured at the Fresh/Soph level.
Girls Basketball: The Girls Varsity Basketball season began on a high note with an undefeated run to the Weiner Tournament Championship! After that, the league season proved more challenging, as BT finished with a 6-10 record. The Warriors traveled to Friends School for a first round playoff game and were victorious, 50-33! In the second round BT fell to top seed Glenelg Country School. Seniors Hannah C. '16, Hallie H. '16, Sydney H. '16, Kelsey T. '16, and Samantha B. '16, as well as Senior manager Allison F. '16, all made great contributions to the basketball program. At the Girls Junior Varsity level, BT continued a tradition of successful teams with a 7-2 league record, good for 2nd place. The Warriors lost a close one, 30-24, to Indian Creek in the tournament semifinals, but it was still a wonderful season. View Coach Howell's season reflections here
Girls Indoor Soccer: The Girls Indoor Soccer team had a fun season and worked very hard, but lost to Key School in the first round of the playoffs after a 4th place regular season finish.
