Service Protocols:
We are pleased to see our members' compliance with our precautionary measures — i.e. maintaining social distance between each other when attending services in person and wearing masks properly. We have also installed the AtmosAir filtration system a couple of months ago — a state-of-the-art system that actively reduces airborne and surface contaminants, including viruses.
As we move into colder weather and flu season, please
err on the side of caution with any symptoms and stay home. In compliance with CDC, Maryland State and Baltimore County guidelines,
we will no longer take temperatures of those attending services in person at shul. Instead, we ask
anyone who plans to attend service in person to monitor themselves at home before coming to shul for exposure or the symptoms listed below:
Symptoms: • A fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• A sore throat
• New onset of cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or new loss of taste or smell
• Severe headache, especially with a fever
• Cough or difficulty breathing (for those with chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline)
• Diarrhea, vomiting or abdominal pain
Exposure:
• Close contact (within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes) with anyone diagnosed with covid-19 or suspected of having covid-19, including someone awaiting test results
• Traveled to a "high risk state" (covid-19 test positivity rate above 10% or a case rate over 20 per 100,000 in the past 7 days) —
view details here• You or a close contact attended a gathering in the past 7 days where proper social distancing or the wearing of face masks was not followed
The following protocols are still in place:• You must wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose the entire time you are in the building
• All social distancing guidelines must be observed
• Socializing is not permitted
• You must bring your own tallit
• Bathrooms will be open, but we encourage you to use the bathroom at home prior to services and refrain from using the shul bathrooms if possible
