All-School Convocation Adds Meaning to Thanksgiving

Beth Tfiloh continued the tradition, began last year, to mark Thanksgiving with an all-school convocation. This year's program provided another meaningful opportunity for younger students to see and hear from older students as well as BT alumni.

The program began with remarks by Mrs. Schorr and the singing of the National Anthem, Hatikva and Ki Beiti Beit Tefila (our school song) by the High School Choir. The Lower and Middle School also led songs of "thanks".

Additional speakers included Elie Berman ('04), who has been serving in the Israel Defense Forces, Michael Bunich ('94) and Adam Klaff ('94), who expressed their thanks to their parents and Beth Tfiloh for helping them become who they are today. Michael and Adam are being inducted into the Beth Tfiloh Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame this Saturday night at the Alumni Games.

The program concluded with the singing of G-d Bless America.
