The annual Parent’s Association Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon took place today, May 7, and was a success, as always. Serving chicken and salad prepared in-house, as well as Israeli salad and roasted potatoes provided by Accents and an assortment of desserts provided by Pariser’s Bakery, the PA showed their appreciation towards the outstanding staff and faculty of Beth Tfiloh School and Congregation while simultaneously supporting
America Eats for Israel.
The teachers present expressed both ebullience and gratitude towards the PA for sponsoring their luncheon as both Mr. Amdur and Mr. Boulenbaugh stated, “It’s good to be appreciated.” Morah Lanner, High School Judaics Department Chair, stressed how thankful she was saying, “A full stomach makes a happy teacher.”
All staff members received a gift of a pedometer, inspired by the event theme,
Always Go the Extra Mile, which captures the enthusiasm and energy of BT’s staff and their dedication to all BT students. Says five-time Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon co-chair Shari Hawtof, “I always think this is a wonderful event that allows us, as the PA, to personally thank the people that impact our kids during the year.” Stephanie Kronthal, who has co-chaired this special occasion for more than ten years, agrees. “This is always my favorite event to co-chair. It’s always fun to see the teachers and staff and thank them for everything they do throughout the year."
