Mrs. Faigie Friedman Receives CJE Award

Mazal tov to Mrs. Faigie Friedman, 5th Grade Judaics teacher, on being named the Center for Jewish Education’s Rabbi Herbert Birnbaum Award winner. This award honors a “Jewish educator for extraordinary dedication to the Jewish people and distinguished service to Jewish education in particular.”

Mrs. Sandy Bernheim, Chair of CJE’s Educator Recognition committee noted that “the committee was impressed with your personal relationship with your students and your commitment to finding new ways to connect and teach.”

“The energy, love and dedication Morah Friedman displays on a daily basis for her students is truly inspirational,” comments Middle School Principal Rabbi Yehuda Oratz. “I am humbled to have the honor to work with and learn from such a true Jewish role model.”

Morah Friedman will be presented with a certificate and a prize at the CJE’s educator recognition ceremony on Wednesday, May 6th.
