MS Baseball Ends Season with a 13-6 win over Friends School

 

In their last game of the 2016 spring season, the MS Baseball Warriors traveled to the Weinberg YMCA on 33rd Street evoking memories of Memorial Stadium. The bats as well as pitching and defense all came together for this incredible win. Ethan G. ‘ 21 threw a 6 inning complete game striking out 8 batters as well as fielding his position with a nice catch. Avishaye M. ’20 and Josh C. ’20 combined for a double play to stop a Friends rally. As for the bats, Gavri L. ’20 mashed a triple and later scored while Louis M. ’20 had 4 R.B.I’s with a double and 2 singles. Avi G. ’21 was remarkable behind the plate as the catcher throwing out a would be base stealer. Congratulations to the whole team on a well-played game!
