Support The Associated's Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

A message from The Associated:

As we all are painfully aware, this past weekend, Hurricane Harvey slammed into the Texas coast, pummeling the region with heavy winds and unprecedented amounts of rainfall. And, unfortunately the weather event is far from over. With hundreds of thousands of people impacted by this devastating storm, and untold damage to homes, businesses and communities, our hearts and prayers go out for the safety of those living in the hurricane’s path.

As the damage continues to mount, the full impact of Hurricane Harvey will be difficult to predict. Recognizing the massive needs and guided by our Jewish values, The Associated has opened an emergency relief fund to support individuals and communities living in Southeast Texas.

One hundred percent of the donations will go toward relief and recovery efforts. Working with our Federation partners at JFNA and with FEMA, we will coordinate closely with government and appropriate nonprofits on the ground to ensure that the communities’ most dire needs are met.

In addition, we are continually researching ways that we can provide in-kind support to the organizations and people in need. This is an unfolding event and we will provide more information as it evolves.

But for now the most pressing need is money. To help our friends in Texas, we encourage you to send your cash donations online to associated.org/texasrelief or mail a check to the following address:
