BT’s National Honor Society chapter promotes and recognizes outstanding scholarship, service, character, and leadership. NHS members must maintain cumulative, weighted averages of 3.9, demonstrate leadership and commitment to service by being a leader in one school organization or by being an active participant in two organizations. Students must also meet the highest standard of character and ethical conduct including accepting criticism, respect, courtesy, and honesty, and being helpful to others.
As BT Director of Education Dr. Zipora Schorr shared with the inductees and their families, their induction was "not about honor, but about being honorable — it's about being the best you can be."
