JV Boys Basketball wins conference championship, defeating Park 40-28

Congratulations to Coach Ken Woods, Coach Eli Creeger, and the Boys JV Basketball team who defeated Park School 40-28 to win the MIAA C Conference JV Basketball Championship!!

Going into the championship game, both BT and Park were tied for first place in their division with an overall record of 11-4. Our BT boys played outstanding defense against a taller Park team, frustrating the Bruins the entire game. Many, many BT players had outstanding games. AJ Hurwitz, Adam Venick, Beni Goldman, and Eli Plaut were outstanding defending Park’s guards all night and creating many turnovers!! Eli Katz, Ben Holback, and Evan Sandler guarded Park’s larger front line all game and limited their effectiveness. One of the highlights of the game was Evan Sandler’s driving left-handed lay-up against Park’s center that “iced” the game!!! Another Championship Banner will be displayed in the Gym soon!!! Great job Warriors!!!
