BT Challah Bake - Beginners Session

Join Morah Faigie Friedman, beloved teacher and challah baker extraordinaire, for the spiritual and the practical aspects of challah making. We will dedicate the prayers recited for taking challah to the health of our community and the professionals who have worked tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
Come with all your ingredients ready to go – see ingredient listed below. If you’re unable to find ingredients, you are still invited to join us to learn!

7-7:45 pm: Dough making and first rising- Great start for beginners (all bakers welcome).
7:45-8:30 pm: Intermission while your challah rises.
8:30-9:15 pm: Challah braiding - Learn how to create beginner braids, loaves, and rolls and hear words of inspiration from Morah Friedman. (You may also make your own dough and join in here)
