Beth Tfiloh Wins On Elie S. '24 Three-Pointer Again Over Cristo Rey Jesuit
In a back-and-forth affair with the game tied at 60 with under a minute to go, Michael Cohen dribbled it up the court and dished it out in the right corner to Elie Schwartz for a go-ahead three-pointer with under a minute to go. Beth Tfiloh never trailed after that moment and defeated the Cristo Rey Jesuit Hornets 66-60.
Schwartz finished with nine points. Cohen hit clutch free throws down the stretch to officially seal the deal. He and Eli Wahlberg each scored 14 points for Beth Tfiloh. Sam Gruenberg added 12 points as well for the Warriors. They improve to 11-4 overall on the season and 2-0 in MIAA C Conference play.
