Why did you decide to establish the Sophie (z’l) and Willie Mazer Fund?

About 12 years ago, Sophie and I decided that we wanted to do something special for the office staff. Between 1946 and 1963 I handled all of the accounting for Beth Tfiloh and I got to know the men and women who worked in the office. I admired how hard they worked. For the last 12 year’s we, along with our daughter and son-in-law Rosalyn and David Holzworth, have sponsored a Chanukah lunch as a way to express our appreciation. The Sophie and Willie Mazer Fund was established to ensure that the staff have a bright Chanukah for many years to come.
